4. Be sure you are on the correct account view, choose the account labelled as "Purchased via CREATION ENGINE, INC." If you do not see this, click on the arrow next to "Personal Account" on the left side of the page and choose "Purchased via CREATION ENGINE, INC" from the drop-down menu.
5. Click on My Products > View Included Applications > click Manage Devices (under SketchUp Pro) > Deauthorize all.
6. Launch SketchUp, click on the icon at the top right corner (looks like a person), click sign out and then sign in with your email address and password.
If it doesn’t work, reboot your computer and check again.
Education and Nonprofit licenses of SketchUp purchased from us are not auto-renewed and we do not automatically bill you when your current license ends. It is a 1-Year license of SketchUp that will stop working after 1-Year. You are not automatically billed monthly or yearly for this software. It will stop working after it expires and you do not need to worry about cancelling it.
If you own a commercial/retail (non-education) version of SketchUp and would like to edit your auto-renewal settings, visit the SketchUp Help Page.
You can purchase renewal licenses by using one of the following methods:
1. Order online using the add-to-cart buttons on our web site www.creationengine.com/sketchuplab
2. Fax a school purchase order to 650.934.3234
3. Email a school purchase order to orders@creationengine.com
If you need a quote, send your request to orders@creationengine.com.
We carry different options for Education SketchUp depending on who is using the software and how it will be deployed.
SketchUp School Network Lab 1-Year Licenses (Classic, Device licenses)
If the school is purchasing the licenses to install on school owned computers for a lab/classroom setting, there is a floating/concurrent license called Sketchup Network Lab 1-Year License for $30 each with a 5 license minimum purchase. You must purchase the quantity you need to cover the quantity of SketchUp users at the same time. For example, if you purchase 10 licenses of SketchUp Network Lab Licenses, you can install and activate on 100 computers but only 10 can be running SketchUp at the same time. Licenses expire 1-Year from the date of purchase. These licenses require a constant internet connection to keep track of how many licenses are being used at a time. With this option, you receive 1 serial number and 1 authorization code for however many licenses you purchase.

SketchUp Studio for Universities 1-Year Licenses (Named-User licenses)
If the school is buying SketchUp licenses for distribution to students/faculty, there are SketchUp Studio for Universities 1-Year licenses available with tiered pricing (10 unit minimum purchase). SketchUp Studio for Universities 1-Year Licenses are named-user licenses to be assigned to individual students or faculty. The license "admin" assigns the licenses to the users by entering their email addresses in the Trimble Account Management Portal. The email you place the order with is the "admin" account email. To recover these licenses to distribute to other users, you would log into the Account Management Portal and reassign the licenses to the new users. Please note: these are user-licenses and not device licenses. Each license must be assigned/linked to a user's email in order for the user to activate and use the software.
Tiered pricing available here: www.creationengine.com/sketchupstudiouniversities
- SketchUp Network Lab licenses (device licenses) gives you access to SketchUp for Desktop (formerly known as SketchUp Pro) and Layout only.
- SketchUp Studio (named-user licenses) is a suite of products, including SketchUp for Desktop, SketchUp for Web modeler (browser version), Layout, Sketchup for iPad, Scan Essentials (Windows only), Diffusion, Sefaira, PreDesign, Mobile Viewer, and more.

NEW SKETCHUP USERS/ACCCOUNTS
Please check that you have activated your Trimble account properly. After we process a SketchUp Studio Education or Nonprofit order, new SketchUp users/accounts will receive an email invitation from Trimble to create a Trimble account. The link in the Trimble invitation email is linked to your SketchUp license. You must click on the link in that email to set up your Trimble account and then the SketchUp license will sync into your account. If you do not see the Trimble email invitation in the inbox, please check your spam folder or contact us sketchup@creationengine.com so we can have it resent to you. If you created your Trimble account on your own and not through the link in the Trimble invitation email, the SketchUp license may not sync into your Trimble account. In this case, look for the Trimble invitation email and click the link to sync the license into your account or contact us sketchup@creationengine.com so we can have it resent to you.
Please note: If you are a customer with an existing Trimble account, you will not receive an invitation email, please refer to the next section "Returning SketchUp Users."
RETURNING SKETCHUP USERS

SOLUTION
The area on the right side of the login screen can be blocked by ad blockers. If you are using an ad blocker, go into its settings and whitelist id.trimble.com, accounts.sketchup.com, and login.sketchup.com.
If it is not resolved, check these items:
The right side of the page can become blocked if, for example, there’s an ad blocker in place or a firewall setting blocking it from talking to the Sketchup servers. This might also be caused by a content blocker, VPN, CDN, or security setting. Try setting a different browser as the default, turning off any content blocker, clearing browser cache, and disconnecting any active VPN.
We understand you are connected to the internet, but there could be something that is blocking your SketchUp program from talking to the SketchUp servers. Please take a look at this guide about making sure your browser is updated and checking internet/secutiry settings. It is very important that you go through the whole guide: http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/3000056
SketchUp requires uninterrupted access to the internet for features such as the 3D Warehouse, Add Location, Licensing, Extension Warehouse, and Trimble Connect. To ensure connectivity, you may need to adjust settings in your Firewall, Proxy, VPN, ad block, DNS, or Internet Security software for your network or computer. We also recommend accessing the 3D Warehouse through the built-in 3D Warehouse Browser and/or your web browser (https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/) instead of the component browser.
SketchUp needs access to the following ports:
Subscription Licenses: 80, 8888, and 443
Network Lab Licenses: 5053, 50530
SketchUp needs permission to visit all of the sub-domains for SketchUp.com, Trimble.com, and Trimblepaas.com easily included as:
*.sketchup.com
*.trimble.com
*.trimblepaas.com
*.bing.com
cdn.cookielaw.org
If you go through everything on the article and it's still not working, then there might be something on your computer/network that is blocking SketchUp from accessing the Internet. Things such as anti-spyware and firewall should be checked. Please check if bing.com is blocked on this computer/browser. If it is, please unblock it because to check if the computer is connected to the Internet, SketchUp tries to contact www.bing.com by default.
Trimble uses OneTrust (cdn.cookielaw.org) to manage cookie banners. If this site is blocked, Trimble sites may not fully load.
Please see this article for the complete description and list of steps to take to correct the problem of connecting to the Internet through SketchUp Pro, as well as steps to change the default test URL: http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/3000056
If you are running Windows 10+, try uninstalling and reinstalling as Administrator
Uninstall Instructions: https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36209
When you reinstall Sketchup Pro, be sure to log into Windows as a user who has either Administrator or Power User rights. Download the install file and right click the file and select “Run as Administrator” to start the install process. After installation is complete, right click and select “Run as Administrator” to launch SketchUp Pro after installation is complete.
And if that does not work, try tethering to a mobile phone to take the network out of the equation. One simple test that sometimes works is to bypass the network completely by tethering to a phone (or taking the laptop to a local coffee shop with internet access), make sure to set the phone to Data, not the same internet that is having the issue, and then see if it works. If it does, this is an indication that it is something on the network causing the issue.
1. If you have multiple graphics cards on your computer, check which card is being used by SketchUp. If SketchUp crashes on launch, you can try to set the Nvidia card as the default for SketchUp in the Nvidia control panel. If you can start SketchUp, open SketchUp, go to Window > Preferences > OpenGL and click on the Graphics card detail button. Something may have changed the SketchUp graphics card preference to Intel (from the dedicated one), in which case, please change the settings to use the NVIDIA or AMD graphics card. https://www.howtogeek.com/175281/how-to-force-graphics-options-in-pc-games-with-nvidia-amd-or-intel-graphics/
2. Uncheck “Use Fast Feedback.” - In the SketchUp menu:
Windows OS: Go to Window > Preferences > ”OpenGL” and uncheck "Use Fast Feedback.”
Macintosh OS: Sketchup > Preferences > ”OpenGL” and uncheck "Use Fast Feedback.”
3. Update your graphics drivers. http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36254
4. It could be an extension that is not compatible with your version of SketchUp. Please check the extensions/plug-ins if you have installed any.
5. (Windows only) Make sure you installed SketchUp correctly by right clicking on the installer file and choosing Run as administrator. If you didn’t do that, please uninstall and reinstall by right clicking on the install file and Run as Administrator. Please do the same when you launch SketchUp.
Please check the following items:
1. There may be a component within the file that may be conflicting with the rest of the file, making it slow and/or crash. If you’ve brought items in from 3D Warehouse or imported files, check the items in your file to make sure there aren't ones that are huge or unnecessary duplicates. Some users recommend bringing 3D Warehouse items into a blank/new SketchUp file first to check it's size/dimensions and quality before copying it into the model.
2. Open the SketchUp file, and click "Window" > "Model Info" > "Statistics" > "Purge unused."
3. Open the SketchUp file, and copy & paste the geometry into a new SketchUp file.
4. Make sure that there are no unusual characters in Scene names or Layer names.
5. Sometimes file size can make an impact on performance, but it is also about Styles, Layers, Materials, Shadows, and Transparency. For getting the best performance out of SketchUp, we recommend reviewing the Agile Modeler's Guide checklist.
SOLUTION
This error is related to Visual C++ Redistributable. Please try the following:
• In the Type here to search box, type ‘add’, or enough for the Add or remove programs option to show up. Open Add or remove programs.
• In the Apps & features section is a ‘Search this list’ text entry box. Type ‘c++’. That gives you a list of all of the versions of Microsoft Visual C++ that are installed.
• Scroll to the bottom of the list.
• Click on, and Remove, any versions that are later than 2013. In cases we’ve seen, that means the 2017 one, and the 2015 one.
• Install SketchUp Pro again. Download it here:
https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/downloading-sketchup
If this doesn't work, there may have been a problem with the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 that is usually automatically installed during installation. Please go to the Sketchup download page here and download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 in the yellow box:
https://help.sketchup.com/en/downloading-sketchup
